Installing/Updating Logos Bible Software for Mac Online

First, you need to download the latest installer, so Sign In. Once you’ve signed in, it should bring up your My Account page. You’ll find yourself on the Details tab where you can update your password, billing & shipping info, etc.

Locate and click the Order History tab. Now, you will find a list of any orders you have made through the website, as well as recent phone & email orders you may have made. You will need to find your Mac product order (It will say “for Mac” in the description). Once you’ve located it, just click the Order Number to the left.



This will bring up your Mac order Invoice. At the bottom of this page, find the links to download the installer. You will want to click the top-most link for the latest update.



Once it’s finished downloading (it’s about 20Mb so it shouldn’t take too long), open it from your Downloads window, or you can find it on your desktop as “Libronix 1.2.1”. When it opens, if it doesn’t launch the Installation automatically, click the “Install Libronix” icon and follow the prompts to install. You should get something like this:



You should now have the latest version. If you were just Updating and older installation, you’re all set. If this is a new installation, or new to this Mac, please continue.



Activating Libronix DLS & Installing Resources



When you open Libronix DLS for the first time, you will be prompted to Activate. If you’re a brand new Logos user, select New User and follow the prompts. If you’re an existing user, either switching from PC to Mac, or just installing on your second Mac, select Existing User.



It will then ask for your Customer ID and Confirmation code. They should be similar to this:



(If an e-mail address was not used when you first activated, your Customer ID may appear as an LBXUSER number instead)

You will then be asked to Synchronize Licenses. Be sure to do this.



Finally, once installation/update has completed, it will bring up the Resource Installer to load your books. Please make sure your disk is inserted and wait for it to finish scanning.



When scanning completes, if you have books to be copied, they will be listed here. Just click Install Resources to put them on your hard drive, close the Resource Installer when it finishes, and you’re ready to go.
