Possible issues after installation
Customer ID is Case Sensitive: If you have an existing or preactivated account, and enter your Customer ID in the wrong case, Libronix will accept the entry but it will not build the license file correctly. After restarting Libronix it will ask for the Customer ID and Confirmation Code again. When it does ask again, just enter your Customer ID using the correct case. If you're not sure what that is, please contact Logos Customer Support at (800) 875-6467 or email@example.com.
Installer Package may not completely install the Libronix DLS application; this is a rare occurrence. After installing the software, the Libronix DLS icon does not appear under Applications. If this occurs, please contact Logos Mac Support at (800) 875-6467 or firstname.lastname@example.org to resolve this problem.
Preferences Dialog does not open. When you click on Libronix DLS | Preferences, the Preferences dialog does not appear. Deleting the Libronix DLS Cache folder resolves this problem:
Open a Finder window, open your Home (user) folder, and browse to \Library\Caches.
Drag the Libronix DLS folder in Caches to Trash, then Empty Trash.
Open Libronix and open the Preferences dialog.
Resource Update: Issue 1: If resource files are being updated, you will be prompted to replace the older version for every resource being updated. This is a known issue that will be fixed in a future release. Issue 2: Updated resources remain listed in the Resource Installer after updating. The solution is to rebuild the resource information cache. Click on the Libronix DLS menu and choose Preferences. Click on Resource Paths at the top of the window, then click on the Refresh Resources button. Restart Libronix.
Search causes Libronix to Crash: Libronix may shut down unexpectedly when running any type of search. If the search does not work the next time it is attempted:
Quit Libronix and check your Resources folder for two files: ldlshelp.lbxlls and addinhelp.lbxlls (you may not see the .lbxlls extension). Resources are found on the hard drive (not in home directory) in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources.
If one or both files are present, move them to Trash, then empty Trash.
Open Libronix and click on Libronix DLS | Preferences | Resource Paths. Click the Refresh Resources button and restart Libronix; it may take a few minutes to open as it rebuilds the resource information cache.
Try the search again. If it continues to shut down the program, please contact Logos Mac Support at (800) 875-6467 or email@example.com to resolve this problem.
